A Journey

Every fall, huge numbers of Monarch Butterflies gather in Canada to migrate over 3,000 kilometers some of these butterflies congregate in Michoacan.
Several hundred Monarch Butterflies were released from the Magic Wings conservatory located in Deerfield MA. The conservatory was participating in the annual Monarch Butterfly migration south to Mexico and Central America.
This has been a particularly slow year for the egg laying process as a result of a cold and rainy summer. This means there are less Monarchs in the wild.
If you are interesting, this link will allow you to follow their journey.
I can only imagine what a beautiful life moment that is...
hundreds of spectacular and somewhat magical Monarch butterflies emerging from their cocoons.....a liberating moment!
