A Beautiful Union?

An International Park project that was proposed in the 1930s could be something the US government may consider supporting in the future. The International Park would be located between Big Bend National Park in Texas and the protected areas of Coahuila and Chihuahua, Mexico. Congressman Ciro Rodriquez of Texas has been pushing this project back on the agenda and minds of Congress.
An interesting proposal? maybe...
An International Park already exists between the United States and Canada. The Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park borders Montana and the province of Alberta.

Interesting. The Pancho Villa National Park sits right on the border of New Mexico and Sonora, Mexico. I havent been there yet, but my parents visit every year.
Chrissy - A yearly trip? What takes your parents back each year? Perhaps I should add to my list of places to see.....
